Reason #12 Why I Miss My Old Boss

My old boss was a person of the female persuasion, while my new boss is not.

Thus, my new boss will not accept the following excuse:

"Sorry I was late, but my boots made this outfit look slutty, so I had to hunt down a clean pair of nylons."

    Stop being so sexist. You'll never know until you try. I think I would. I'd laugh with you over it.

    Course there is absolutely no chance I'll be your boss. You can be mine though?

    You just need to exercise his sense of humor. Then again, i've been downgraded in a performance review for having too much fun at work. WTF is up with that? No, I don't work with that dolt anymore. Whew.

    Did you actually try it out on him? In general, the stereotype is true, so it may well be he won't accept that line as an excuse. After all, there's no such thing as looking too slutty at work...

    People, people, people.  Did I mention my new boss (the one of the male persuasion) is in his seventies?  I wouldn't even use the WORD "slutty" in his presence, much less use it to describe myself.
