Pet Peeve #762

There ought to be a law that before you are allowed to be a newscaster or elected official, you must be able to properly pronouce the word "nuclear."

    YES!!!  I so agree!  Why is that such a hard thing?  It seems a sign of laziness to be told and shown by example the proper pronunciation of a word (especially one that simple) and still not make some sort of effort to pronounce it right.
