I have a few comments about this picture. 1) AWWWWWWWWW!!!! She is too darn cute! 2) This is an EXCELLENT photo! It really shows off your bedroom and all the redecorating that you did. I LOVE the shutters! The mint green looks wonderful. 3) All around GREAT photo!
Have you ever noticed, though, that a cat will look comfortable lying just about anywhere? I once found my cat, Ginny, lying in Ken's tool drawer. Yep, the tool drawer full of hammers, screws, masking tape. All hard, cold ends of stuff.
What's the curved white thing on the end of the bureau, next to the white lamp? A speaker? Sound machine? Fan? What? I'm dying here.
It was a huge necessity prior to getting the shutters. Cold air seeped in the window something wicked, and the condo association wouldn't let me replace the window. The shutters (when closed, obviously) keep most of it out of the room. But I still use the space heater on colder, rainy nights.
Well, who the hell am I, really? Blogged on (don't shoot me) AOL for years, and, upon AOL-J's implosion, thought I'd move on out here with the big boys.
The journal started off as a record of my initial forays into a gym, as I tried to get fit for a trip to New Zealand -- and then a journal of the trip. Since then, it's sort of grown into a standard whatever-I-happen-to-be-thinking -about blog. I think it's best when I travel, actually, but feel free to check out five years of history (and who knows how much future).

That looks like a little air cleaner at the end of your dresser. Are you allergic to your cat?
