I heard some unusually loud noises from down the hall. When I went to investigate, this is what I discovered....
She seems quite proud of her work here. I wonder if it's a cry for help.

My cats had that very same toy!!! It's no longer ... they batted it around a bit, broke off the bell and had a wicked gleem in their eyes! Now it's the puppy that finished off the toy. I think he got the most enjoyment out of the toy.
What I'd like to know is how she got the eyes off AND together in the same approximate area AND both face up. /=| Now THAT is talent, especially with no fingers.
Aw crap, you caught me. Actually, the googly eyes were both upside-down (although in that location). I exercised Photographer's Privilege and flipped them.
But just in case you think my cat is any less remarkable for it... when I left this morning, I gave her one of them tiny toy mice to play with. I came home tonight and found it in my walk-in closet. Behind the closed door. She must have batted it under or something -- but I still found it quite the feat.
Well, who the hell am I, really? Blogged on (don't shoot me) AOL for years, and, upon AOL-J's implosion, thought I'd move on out here with the big boys.
The journal started off as a record of my initial forays into a gym, as I tried to get fit for a trip to New Zealand -- and then a journal of the trip. Since then, it's sort of grown into a standard whatever-I-happen-to-be-thinking -about blog. I think it's best when I travel, actually, but feel free to check out five years of history (and who knows how much future).
